It’s about a 25 minute walk into the center of town and we felt very safe walking back after dark. 10 minutes walk from Sophia Gardens and cricket. Couple of decent pubs close (but not too close) by. Nice kitchen area for a short stay and a big bed.

I don't know where to even start with this review, it was that good! Firstly, despite my lack of experience with Airbnb, Pedro and Alina could not have been more inviting. Although initially booking to stay at the Studio, I was told it had become unavailable during my stay so I was offered the Suite at no extra cost, and they took every measure to ensure I would be guaranteed somewhere to stay. The Suite was easy to find and parking was excellent, I felt comfortable leaving my car there for the days I was staying. My only issue with this property is that I didn't realise it was a house split into rooms until being offered the Suite- not a problem itself, but be prepared to deal with other guests, who unfortunately during my stay saw fit to cause some noise during the night, which is no reflection of the hosts. I also would have liked an extra bolt for extra security on the suite door as you do not know the other guests, but it still felt secure. Will definitely return if in Cardiff!!

First the good, then the bad. The Suite was a fabulous apartment in a great location on the edge of Central Cardiff with parking. It is well appointed with a lovely four poster bed, sofa, chez lounge and a beautiful bathroom area with a gorgeous shower. Indeed everything for great two night stay in Cardiff. Unfortunately, once you have booked with AirBnB, you are then required to send the hosting agents personal id (which has already been verified through AirBnB) and credit card details. The subsequent constant messaging for check in times, well being enquiries and check out details could all have been handled in one communication.

This is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Cardiff. The flat is very comfortable with a 4 poster bed and an amazing shower. The City Centre is a short walk away and there is a really good Italian Restaurant very close to the property. There are also pubs nearby. We had a minor issue on arriving and within 15 minutes Pedro was there to sort this out. He was friendly and informative and the service provided was top class. Although private parking is available behind the property there is also ample parking on the road outside, although this can be full if you get there/ back during working hours.

Really beautiful place! I truly have no complaints. It was exactly as expected, antique vibes in a lovely neighborhood. Bed was huge and cozy. We tried Elgano, The Beverly, and Uisce, very close by and all were delicious. We were in Cardiff for a quick trip to explore, and loved that we could stay close to the city but not right in the middle of it. They did use another service for communication/extra check-in stuff, which seemed odd at first, but it turned out fine and I felt safe doing so, as it was still connected to our airbnb chat.

Overall the place was lovely! Close enough to town but far enough away so it wasn’t noisy or busy. The main road outside was manageable but we decided to park in the parking area around the back. It was a bit of a nause walking to/from especially in the dark as it was raining, but that was our only negative. The bed was super comfortable and huge, the shower was immensely luxurious and we could have stayed there for days.

We were in awe of this flat from the moment we arrived at the beautiful front door of the building. These two clearly care about hospitality, decor and attention to detail. We loved the "suite" on the first floor, which is stylishly furnished and lavishly equipped. We especially enjoyed the dining area by the window overlooking the street. Pontcanna is a quiet part of town, with a quiet street, some restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Cardiff city centre is within walking distance, the bus stop is close to the apartment and you can be in the city and at the train station in about 10 minutes by bus. Pedro was proactive and service oriented in communicating before arrival and during the stay. We appreciate something like that.

The Suite was located in a spacious and luxurious studio in a Victorian Villa on walking distance (20 min) from Cardiff city centre. The studio is really great, has a good bed (important!) and a good shower. There's a supermarket close by (6 min walk), the Beverley Hotel busstop is only 1 minute away (by foot), and there are a couple of reastaurants and bars located in the street. So, great location which I would definitely recommend! Particularly suitable for day trippers of people staying in the city for a few days. Only thing I wasn't quite fond of is the digital Check-in form you had to fill in before you could enjoy your stay. Don't think such a form should be needed. Luckily Pedro was communicative and was willing to communicate outside this form as well, via email.

The place is fantastic, looks smaller in the pictures than it actually is. Good location for local parks and the city is only 15mins away. They have managed to make a studio apartment feel like it has completely separate rooms. Only negative from me was that you had to fill out a separate form and give some personal information; I understand from the hosts that they need to protect their property but felt like a repeat of info that Airbnb hold. I haven’t marked them down though because the space was spot on.

The Suite was absolutely incredible. The location was perfect with just a 10-15 minute walk taking you straight to the city centre. It was such a joy to stay in and the details that Pedro and Alina provide you with about the local area are so helpful - we found an amazing restaurant for breakfast and an incredible bakery for some heavenly Danish delights based on their recommendations! We will absolutely be back and would absolutely recommend this for anyone else looking for a luxurious city retreat!

An incredible place to stay, situated within 10-15 minutes walk to the city centre. Beautifully decorated with everything you need located either in the room or nearby with pubs, restaurants and even a CoOp a short walk away. The room is super clean and neat with a great shower and plenty of storage space for a long or short stays. I cannot express how lovely the hosts are with all information neatly packaged and sent digitally before check in. All access codes and information about your stay found easily within this package. Bed is super comfy with a sofa and TV to relax with, not that youll need to with the stunning Bute Park right around the corner. We loved our stay here and highly recommended it for a stay in Cardiff.

A stylish bed-sit style apartment a mile from the middle of Cardiff. This is comfortable, comparatively quiet. We liked the location, close to the park for dog walking, and the secure parking was a bonus. Cooking facilities were a bit limited, especially as Cardiff was very busy that weekend and restaurants were all booked up. Overall we felt pretty positive though.

My partner and I have had the perfect week in Cardiff, and it's all down to staying at The Suite! Pedro and Alina are the perfect hosts, they're communicative, attentive, helpful and only a message away if you need anything. The check in / check out process is so easy. The Suite is stunning, my highlights are the four poster bed, the spacious shower and the high ceilings. The place felt opulent, warm but it is totally functional and practical. Since going out to restaurants wasn't appealing to us (we did not fancy sitting outside in the wind and rain!) we were able to prepare our own meals and stay in with no FOMO whatsoever. The location is perfect for those who want to venture into the city centre, it's an easy 20 minute walk, but it's also perfect for those wanting a change from the bustle of the city. Pontcanna itself is a super dreamy area to explore, with lots of lovely pubs (if you can get a table!), niche little bakeries and quirky shops dotted around. It's also super helpful that there is a private parking space allocated for The Suite, but parking on Cathedral Road is also really easy (surprisingly!). We're so happy we got to experience this little slice of heaven - Diolch Pedro ac Alina!

We honestly cannot recommend this beautiful apartment highly enough, it was absolutely perfect! The flat is beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches everywhere and a lot of great books! The bed was very comfy and the rain shower was amazing! There’s a lovely little kitchenette with everything you need for a short stay and a desk in case you need to do any work. Pedro and Alina went out of their way to send recommendations and accommodate for our requests and were prompt and friendly with all communications. We loved our stay and hope to return very soon!
