Lovely appartement. Would certainly recommend. It was recently tastefully decorated. Beds were super-comfy and shower was great. Kitchen had the basic essentials and one of those coffee pod machines. There were only 4 seats at the table which for an apartment that sleeps 5 might something to look out for. We found parking fairly close by, about 3 minute walk. The area is great for a visit to central Cardiff. As mentioned by other reviewers, the 2000 word T’s & C’s, with promises of £200 charges if you lose the keys or £50 per hour late check out, along with scanning in your passport and paying a deposit on your credit card seems excessive compared to other places but maybe the hosts have had some negative experiences in the past so you’ll just need to work out if this is worth it to you. As the other reviewers have also said…. It is a lovely and quite rare apartment in a good area.

Very quaint neighborhood. Family oriented yet close walking distance to all tourist attractions, restaurants as well as parks. Home was very comfortable, clean, safe, and quietly situated in residential area. Beautiful street.

We absolutely loved Pedro and Alina's place. A week wasn't long enough. Everything in the apartment was well thought out and a nice mix of modern and antiques. The entire place was sparkling clean and smelled of fresh paint. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy at the table. We loved the open kitchen living space. Three bedrooms were the perfect sized and the beds were heavenly. Pontcanna was a delightful area, so close to the park and city central! It was safe to walk around at night and had a few neat pubs and restaurants very near. I highly recommend a stay at Pontcanna Pearl! Hopefully we'll be back for another visit.

Pedro and Alina's place was lovely! The space is very comfortable and spacious. We found the location to be perfect as it's an easy walk away from the center, so it's much more peaceful and relaxing, but still very accessible to number of cool spots and restaurants as well as the main city center. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely stunning! A beautiful home in a fantastic location. As others have said, the additional check in and security deposit is a bit of a faff, and the ad isn’t clear enough that there’s an extra charge for dogs. But, it’s totally worth it - you’re rewarded with a faultless stay and a super useful online ‘guest area’ with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely be back!

A beautiful, immaculate home, just perfect for our university reunion. Great location in the heart of Pontcanna, within easy walking distance of both the river and green space, as well as the city centre. The elegant kitchen/sitting room was the perfect heart of our weekend, with natural light from the high sash windows, a gorgeous sofa and dining space for four to eat and chat the night away. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts. Our one suggestion would be to provide a visitor parking permit…our visit coincided with two sporting events and it took forty minutes to find an available parking spot (which was a ten minute walk from the house).

Pontcanna Pearl is a lovely Apartment centrally located with a short walk to the City & Cardiff castle, and has a number of parks nearby in which to take in some exercise or just relax. The booking procedure is a little daunting and more difficult than most Airbnb hosts require, but once completed it would be more manageable when booking again. Parking is not provided, but once you understand the street parking arrangements it is usually possible to find a space fairly close to the residence. Pedro & Alina have created a very stylish residence in Pontcanna that can be enjoyed when visiting the City.

Lovely place, very friendly and responsive hosts! I actually had burgeoning appendicitis pains at the time of the stay, and it was *still* the best night sleep I’ve had in a long time! Can definitely recommend. It’s a little pricy, but the area in general is pretty pricy, and comparatively it was one of the much more reasonably priced places in the vicinity. Be aware they take a refundable deposit in addition to what happens on Air BnB, which was fine, but I hadn’t spotted that additional (if refundable) cost when booking. Would stay again for sure!

Pedro and Alina’s apartment has a peaceful but accessible location in leafy Pontcanna. It’s spotlessly clean and well decorated. Bedroom sizes might best accommodate a couple and two singles. Pre check in it’s relatively admin heavy and you do need to provide a deposit. Overall we had a comfortable stay.
